On 15th November 2000, a dedicated member of the ancient Malankara Syriac Orthodox Church started this internet discussion forum, to glorify God Almighty as well as to disseminate the truth to the world.  The initial handful members and their hard work paved way for the forum to be grown to the present membership of 3000+ and becoming premier in all such forums available in the electronic media. Now it is managed by six dedicated moderators from all parts of the world. The success of this forum was due to your full support and by the grace of God Almighty, and all praises are for HIM only.

SOCM-FORUM is a discussion forum in Yahoo Group for Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christians (Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Church-under the Holy see of Patriarch of Antioch and all the East.)

However, we need your assistance in maintaining healthy and authentic discussions in the forum, by providing your complete details to us, after which you will be allotted a membership ID number.  When you post further messages to the forum, you may only quote the member ID number along with your name.  We assure you that your details will not published in forum without your consent and will be kept with us only.

The Forum is not representing the official stand of the church and by no means claims any official recognition of the church authorities, even though the Owner and Moderators owe allegiance to the hierarchy of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church. However, opinions and responses of the Church leadership are posted here.

Discussion is conducted in a spirit of love and humility, particularly when engaging Christians of non-Syriac Orthodox Churches.
