His Beatitude Aboon Mor Baselious Thomas I arrived in Kuwait today (14 September 2006) as part of a Middle East Tour.
He is Accompanied by Rt. Rev Baby Chamakkala Cor Episcops and Rev. Fr. Thampy Marady. A warm and hearty welcome was given to His Beatitude and the accompanying Priests by his spiritual children in Kuwait.
His Beatitude will attend few function in the Kuwait Parish of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church including the Establishment Festival of St: George Universal Syrian Orthodox Church on 22nd Sept.
Rev. Father Thampy Marady, one of the most revered evangelist of the Holy Church will lead the convention 2006 of the St: George Church from 16th to 21st Sept.

The annual convention of Kuwait St: George Universal Syrian Orthodox Church was inaugurated on 16th September 2006 by His Beatitude Baselios Thomas 1st.
The ceremony was attended by Rev. Baby Chamakkala Cor-Episcopa, Rev Fr Mathews Poozhikolel (Vicar) and Rev Fr. Thamby Maradi ( main convention speaker )
This convention will continue till 21st September and the venues disbursed to various parts of Kuwait. He will be the chief guest for the Parish Day celebration of St: George Universal Syrian Orthodox church on 22nd Sept 2006 to be held at the National Evangelical Church Kuwait Parish hall.
